Rold has been granted access to the Open Connectivity Foundation’s membership workspace as a Platinum member. The Open Connectivity Foundation is dedicated to ensuring secure interoperability for consumers, businesses and industries by delivering a standard communications platform, a bridging specification, an open source implementation and a certification program allowing devices to communicate regardless of form factor, operating system, service provider, transport technology or ecosystem. The Internet of Things was one of the themes discussed during the Rold annual event “Mind the gap”, held in Milan on October 25th. During the event, the invited speakers shared and debated their views on the future of people and IoT, technologies and manufacturing, human capital and work.
