Nuvap won the “eHealth4all” award

Nuvap, a pioneer in the indoor pollution monitoring market, has won the 2017-2019 edition of the “eHealth4all” award, with the research project on “Prevention of diseases caused by indoor pollution in offices”. The third edition of the “eHealth4all” award has been organized by Club TI Milan, CDTI and AICA, and its theme was “Prevention 4.0 – technologies and solutions for today’s and tomorrow’s health”. The Nuvap project focused on the study of indoor pollution in 100 offices of Italian companies, distributed throughout the national territory. An environmental quality index has been developed (Nuvap Index, which has values between 1 and 10), which takes into account 20 parameters, including many chemical and physical pollutants. The correlation between the index and various data related to respiratory diseases and occupational diseases was studied. The motivation for the award is: Nuvap Project has achieved the highest vote by the Scientific Committee because overall it meets all the required criteria (innovativeness, presence of KPI and results, project size, replicability). Moreover, the novelty of the approach to prevention and the existence of a solid measurement framework stand out in the assessment, making it an optimal candidate for wider dissemination. “Nuvap’s aim is to redefine the standards of quality of life and safety for all its customers, through an innovative platform for monitoring indoor pollutants – the company explains -. Thanks to Nuvap’s solutions, it is possible to detect and monitor, in a simple and comprehensive manner, the presence of both chemical and physical pollutants in workplaces, schools, hospitality and health care facilities or other private and public buildings where people spend regularly several hours per day”. The company’s developments are focused on environmental data collection and analysis technologies. Nuvap’s technology is protected by international patents, relating to the exclusive combined and constant monitoring of polluting agents in an indoor environment.
