Grundig is participating today in the World Environment Day, created by the United Nations General Assembly to raise the awareness among governments and populations about the protection of the global ecosystem. In line with the mission of the parent company Arçelik “Respecting the world, respected worldwide”, Grundig has launched a series of sustainable and intelligent technologies to promote the fight against plastic, including: the washing machine drum made with recycled bottles, the micro-fiber filtering system integrated in the washing machine and the innovative components for the ovens, produced by reusing waste materials deriving from fishing nets. Grundig contributes to the World Environment Day by pointing out some simple practices regarding sustainability and respect for the resources: avoiding the use of plastic bottles, using a simple fabric cloth instead of absorbent paper, eliminating plastic shopping bags and opt for a reusable model, reuse food waste and transform it into natural compost, and create natural cleaning products at home.
