CEVA Logistics has been awarded a new two-year extension to its Italian contract with Miele. The new contract extends a partnership between the two companies which commenced in 1989 and covers a wide spectrum of activities. CEVA will continue providing Miele with a full suite of back-office services to support eCommerce orders alongside the other functions. It will process the orders from a 6,000 square meter facility at Martinengo in the northern Italian province of Bergamo, Lombardy. Among the goods CEVA will be responsible for are large household appliances, small appliances, recessed ovens and hobs, accessories, cleaning products and professional machines for laundries and hotels. The CEVA Italy team will also be responsible for handling all of Miele’s returns within Italy. “Miele appliances have always stood out for their maximum attention to quality, performance and details that make everyday life more practical and simple – commented Alessandro Covi, Managing Director of Miele -.
