The production of Okida, part of the Sabaf Group, includes timers and electronic controls for the oven. The timers allow user to control the main functions in the electric or gas ovens: hours and minutes, cooking duration and cooking end time. Different types are available with LCD, LED or TFT displays, with mechanical buttons (3 or more) or more advanced systems such as touch control systems. They can be customized both as regards to the function icons and to the background colors. Some versions are equipped with a Bluetooth system and allow the remote control of the oven. The more sophisticated models have the possibility of using a sensor for detecting the temperature in the center of the food (meat probe).
The oven controls allow user to control all the functions even in a very sophisticated way. Some versions are equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi systems that allow not only the remote control of the oven but also the possibility of software updates. They can be customized with the manufacturer’s logo and can contain a personalized recipe book. Considering the different product lines, the OT-2000 timers are equipped with an adjustable LED display in different colors (red, green or white), and some models also make remote control possible thanks to wireless technologies. The devices of the OT-5000 series, on the other hand, are available with a white or red LED display, and offer the possibility of adjusting the lighting with the Touch Key technology. As regards to the controls, the OC-4100-TFT-T model is equipped with a clock and a multifunction digital menu. The device is further enriched by the presence of 15 cooking options. Finally, the OC-200-T model also offers fully digital timer and thermostat: this specific device can also count on an LED display and three touch buttons for adjusting the temperature and cooking times.
