Also for 2020 and 2021 Elica has been awarded various design awards. Three products created by the designer Fabrizio Crisà (the new NikolaTesla Fit hob with integrated extraction and the Rules and SuperPlat hoods) have stood out among the best innovations of the contemporary interior design. “Iconic Design Awards – Innovative Interior” rewards in 2021 the Rules hood and the NikolaTesla Fit extractor hob, which obtains the Best of the Best qualification. The Rules hood also wins two awards (Gold Winner in the Home Interior Products – Household Appliances category and Silver Winner in the Home Interior Products – Kitchen Appliances category) at the “IDA Awards 2020“. The satisfactions for this product also come from Italy by winning at the “Archiproducts Design Award 2020“. Finally, also the SuperPlat model is Silver Winner at the “IDA Awards 2020” (again in the Home Interior Products – Kitchen appliances category). “The success of an industrial product is certainly determined by the market, by sales and by its ability to enter the daily life of consumers – commented Fabrizio Crisà, Elica’s Global Design Director -. The awards represent the ‘sigh of relief’, the seal and certification that the work done is a good job. Knowing that industry experts and qualified juries choose your product, among thousands, as worthy of mention and worthy of an award for design and innovation, reassures and dissolves many doubts that arise when designing something new. The international awards won by the products I have created over the course of a decade are over 130 and this is significant and gives me confidence.
