The Lavazza A Modo Mio Deséa coffee machine has been included in the ADI Design Index 2020, annual selection of the Italian design best products. The appliance is also temporarily shown at the new ADI Design Museum in Milan in the Food Design category. Besides, the products selected by the ADI Design Index 2020 will compete for the prestigious Compasso d’Oro ADI award, which will take place in 2022. Deséa is made in three different colors that recall the nuances of coffee: Black Ink like the traditional espresso, Brown Walnut which refers to the typical nuances of cappuccino and White Cream, light shade like latte macchiato. The machine, equipped with the intuitive One Touch Barista interface, allows user to prepare 4 different types of coffee and access 5 milk-based recipes. In addition, Deséa is one of the quietest machines among the products with the A Modo Mio system (only 43db during the coffee brewing). With the temperature boost button, user can get a hotter coffee and with a single touch the consumer can choose the amount of milk froth. The product is equipped with Lavazza’s exclusive patented milk frothing method and also has an alert system which allows a simple daily maintenance by communicating directly with the consumer.
