Grundig and Beko presented the new products for 2022, characterized by sustainability and attention to detail. Grundig proposes the new Prologue freestanding collection which consists of 3 washing machines, 3 dryers, 2 dishwashers and 7 refrigerators. Particularly interesting is the new Grundig washing machine with FiberCatcher system, available in 2 models of 9 and 10 kg. It is equipped with the FiberCatcher system which collects over 90% of the microfibers deriving from washing clothes in the washing machine. VDE certified, the system can be used for up to 4-6 months without the need for maintenance. Grundig will activate the Premium Service initiative with the possibility to book for free the home visit of a technician who will show how the product works and how the filter can be replaced. The washing machine is equipped with a first replacement filter that guarantees the autonomy for an extended period. The exhausted filter can be returned to the company through the Grundig Service Centers. The company also partners with UK-based ReNew ELP, which created an advanced hydrothermal recycling site using the HydroPRS process. In addition to the exclusive FiberCatcher system, the new washing machines are equipped with WaterCare technology: a special nozzle releases water very delicately on the fabrics, thus preventing them from dispersing a large number of microfibers. They also have HomeWhiz Wi-Fi connection. Besides, the new FiberCatcher technology is combined with a communication campaign through the Call to Action “Stop the Cycle” and the collaboration with the Marevivo association that deals with sea defense. As for the pluses of Grundig’s other freestanding products, the dryers (class A+++) are equipped with the Supreme Refresh system which delivers steam with a refreshing solution. When it comes to dishwashers, the main technologies are AutoDose (to avoid wasting detergent), the CornerWash rotating arm, the DeepClean technology (to clean long and thin neck objects) and the HygieneCare system.
As regards to the freestanding refrigerators, Grundig offers 2 combined models of 60cm in stainless steel and 2 models in dark stainless steel, 2 double-door refrigerators of 70cm and 1 side by side. Among the most innovative technologies, AeroFresh (Total No Frost with two separate and independent cooling systems) and the VitaminZone drawer for fruit and vegetables. As for built-in products, Grundig will present the new Prologue range at Eurocucina 2022: Infinity and Absolute are the two design lines for the new built-in products. The range includes ovens, hobs, dishwashers and refrigerators. In particular, the ovens are equipped with HotAero technology which minimizes the temperature changes and distributes the air evenly, while for the hobs the novelty is the version with integrated hood.
As for Beko, the brand presented the new Beyond freestanding range which is characterized by washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and refrigerators. The washing machines include the top-of-the-range Beyond bPRO500 series (which features the Beyond Touch Plus display and the black door with a chromed frame) and the b300 series. In these new models, recycled PET plastic is also used, and the AQUAtech technology premixes the detergent with water and sprays this solution directly on the fabrics, obtaining more delicacy and energy savings in half the time. Other interesting technologies are SteamCure and the connectivity with the HomeWhiz app. As for the dryers, the bPRO500 series is equipped with Beyond Big Touch Pro display and knob (which help in selecting the program and function in a simple and intuitive way), IronFinish technology (which releases steam at a defined temperature to allow to iron the garments more easily) and connectivity with the HomeWhiz app. The b300 series has a reversible porthole with a minimal chromed frame and Touch display. Both Beyond series of dryers are equipped with the drying sensor (which automatically adjusts the drying time according to the selected mode), SteamCure technology and LED lighting.
As regards to the dishwashers of the Beyond range, the two series bPRO500 and b300 have a Direct Access Touch display. Other technological pluses are: AutoDose, CornerIntense technology for the stubborn dirt, HygieneIntense technology (which cleans the dishes at a high temperature by generating steam) and SelfDry which automatically opens the door at the end of the cycle. Finally, the 60 and 78 cm refrigerators of the Beyond range feature a new high-performance cooling system and the HarvestFresh technology that guarantees the preservation of vitamins and nutrients. At Eurocucina 2022, Beko will present the built-in products of the Beyond range: the new ovens combine attention to design and technology (new cavity that guarantees uniform heat distribution on each level, minimization of temperature fluctuation, steam assisted cooking and pyrolysis). In addition to these products, there are the induction hobs with flexible zones combined with the integrated hood, and gas hobs that are easier to clean thanks to the special treatment of the stainless steel. Finally, the range is completed by dishwashers with AutoDose and high energy efficiency and the new Montebianco 75 refrigerator with over 400 liters of capacity and AeroFlow Total No Frost technology.
