Francesca Polti, general director of Polti

Polti won the “BtoB Award – Best to Brianza Awards“, in the Green category. The initiative, now in its 10th edition, aims at valorizing the best companies in the provinces of Monza, Como and Lecco (Northern Italy). “An award in harmony with the three values that guide us: respect, innovation and sustainability – declared the general director Francesca Polti -. If before the sustainability was mainly associated with product performance, at Polti for some time, before almost unconsciously and now in a conscious and structured way, the sustainability is experienced as a broader concept, which concerns different aspects of the company’s action”. Polti has embarked on a path with the Sustainability Lab of SDA Bocconi, which was divided into an initial phase of analysis and assessment and is now being translated into intervention and training plans to bring the commitment to sustainability on a concrete and verifiable level. “It is not just a matter of implementing specific activities, even impacting but disconnected from each other such as the photovoltaic system or more advanced and performing production modules (as already happened in our case), but also of formalizing inclusive and diversity policies, rethinking the governance, facing the environmental impact with a different awareness and, above all, applying the innovation to the service of this mission”, continued Francesca Polti.
