Part of the Prologue collection, Grundig‘s new Home Comfort line includes residential air conditioners, air-water heat pumps, electric boilers. The range dedicated to the air conditioning is characterized by sustainability and design. One of the most important components of an air conditioning system is the refrigerant gas: Grundig uses R32 fluorinated gas with low environmental impact. In addition, a special hydrophilic coating prevents the condenser and evaporator from rusting. The entire range is also equipped with integrated WiFi connectivity. As regards to the residential air conditioners, these products are divided into 4 lines: three dedicated to mono-split models and one dedicated to multi-split solutions. On a technological level, these products have Inverter motor, Self-Clean+ function and Actifour filtration system, consisting of 4 filters. In particular, the Catechin filter removes odors and dust and the photocatalyst filter eliminates germs; the Nano-silver Ion Filter, an air purifier with silver ions, is able to guarantee clean and healthy air, while the HEPA filter blocks up to 99.995% of polluting particles with a diameter equal to or greater than 0.3 microns. Finally, as highlighted by Grundig, the ION PRO purification technology has an inhibitory effect on the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).
