Microline realizes the equipment dedicated to statistical test for refrigerator thermostats. It consists of a 10 testing station bench to process 10 thermostats simultaneously. It can be used for capillary thermostats or thermostats with separate probe. “The aim – the company explains – is to verify the set points of the thermostats and the possible occurrence of bounces in the contacts. The test is performed by subjecting the thermostat sensor to a thermal cycle from +10 to -40°C. Then, keeping the contacts under load, it checks the setting temperature at which the thermostat switch. The body of the thermostat is kept at a controlled temperature. It is possible to repeat several thermal cycles and to get the average value of several acquisitions”.
