Meccanotecnica Umbra has successfully completed the process for the first certification of its Corporate Social Responsibility management system in accordance with the international standard SA8000. It constitutes the main social certification standard, present in all the main countries of the world and in many sectors, to guarantee an ethical management of the workers – with all that this entails in terms of human rights, gender equality, health and safety (for Meccanotecnica already subject to certification in accordance with ISO45001) and attention to the supply chain for the same issues.
