The renewal, in 2023, of the “Bonus acqua potabile” (drinking water bonus) in Italy, aimed at both private users and commercial businesses, encourages attention to those technologies that can guarantee the water quality. There are advanced solutions on the market, such as those proposed by the Italian Zerica and the American InSinkErator and distributed in Italy by I&D.
Zerica: intelligent and Made in Italy systems

InSinkErator’s anti-waste solutions
InSinkErator’s anti-waste products are designed to avoid waste of water and time. The brand offers a combination of technologies capable of instantly obtaining filtered, super-boiling (thanks to the NeoTank) and chilled (thanks to the NeoChiller) water. These solutions are combined with the 4N1 Touch tap, which offers 4 functions: normal hot and cold water; filtered cold water, adjustable by pressing the button (the flow lasts 30 seconds but, if the user wishes to stop it sooner, a second touch of the button will stop it immediately); very hot filtered water at a temperature approaching boiling point (99°C); and filtered chilled water at a temperature between 3°C and 10°C. These technologies ensure several advantages: the time for cooking pasta or preparing herbal teas is reduced avoiding waste (for example, the liters of water wasted waiting for the desired temperature to be reached), and the plastic bottles are eliminated.
