AEG presents a total upgrade of its laundry product range. Fully reengineered in design, in technologies and in connectivity, the new washing machines, washers-dryers and dryers have received the Red Dot Design Awards 2022 prize for the functional and aesthetical quality reached. The new products have been subdivided into four series: the models equipped with connection, on the market since April 2023, are studied to be able to learn from users’ habits and to offer a customized experience at each washing through My AEG Care app. Implemented with new functions and improved in the information ambit, the application sends specific notifications that can be visualized on household appliances’ display: if the suggestion is accepted, they download and integrate the new setups, to suit everybody’s requirements optimally. Moreover, matching the My AEG Care app with Google, it is sufficient to use the voice to adjust temperature, to switch on, to pause or to switch off in user-friendly and intuitive manner. Besides, pressing the SyncDry button on the dryer, the latter and the washing machine are automatically connected each other: once selected the washing programme, the special function establishes the most suitable drying cycle according to the load weight of the washing machine, setting up the execution timer. For utmost customization, it is finally possible to save up to three preferred programmes directly on the control panel. Considering the different lines, the Series 9000 allows reaching the highest cleaning standards, customizing each washing and drying cycle. The washing machines of this line preserve clothes’ shape and quality, maintaining bright colours in time due to the SoftWater Technology, which purifies and softens water, eliminating the noxious minerals for fibres. To keep the look of each garment intact, also those in technical fabric such as jackets and down jackets, dryers are equipped with the innovative 3D Scan Technology, which detects their residual wetness at 5 cm of depth, assuring an impeccable drying. The Series 8000 includes instead the new models provided with intelligent functions, which help users in the choice of the most suitable programme for each fabric, reducing the risk of damaging clothes. The special PowerClean programme, for instance, removes up to 59 different stains in just 59 minutes even at 30°C: the detergent and the softener are premixed before arriving at the drum and they dissolve completely, reaching each single fibre. The AbsoluteCare® Technology equipping dryers, due to the heat pump, grants the same delicacy as flat drying through programmes and drum movements studied for each kind of fabric: like Woolmark Blue certified cycle, in order to preserve wool garments without restricting them. The Series 7000 is realized for those who want to optimize washing times and to decrease water and energy consumptions, without giving up the daily performances. The washing machines of this series avail themselves of the Prosteam® Technology that, thanks to the steam power, refreshes fabrics and eliminates the smells from clothes already worn, without needing a complete washing and consuming two litres of water only. Moreover, the Final Steam option activates a puff at the end of each cycle to reduce creases. The dryers with heat pump avail instead themselves of the SensiDry® Technology, which uses suitable sensors for granting uniform drying at low temperatures, without prolonging the treatment duration. Finally, the Series 6000 is ideal to take care of garments every day through innovative technologies: like ProSense®, equipping washing machines, which automatically weighs each load to offer tailored washing cycles, meanwhile decreasing water and energy consumptions. Proper sensors adjust with precision the programme duration, granting the best treatment for each garment. As regards to the Ökokombi washers-dryers, these appliances are equipped with SensiDry® Technology that, due to the heat pump, dries at halved temperatures, to take care of all clothes, also technical or delicate ones, also reducing the energy consumption by 55%. Furthermore, the NonStop 3h/3kg programme allows washing and drying a 3kg load in just 3 hours.
