Ecolight, an Italian consortium operating in the management of WEEE, batteries and accumulators, has recently renewed its board of directors for the period 2023-25. Walter Camarda was confirmed as President of the consortium. “The renewed trust – he commented – is an incentive to continue on the way undertaken alongside companies, to accompany them on the delicate, but necessary, path towards the circular economy”. In 2022 Ecolight managed over 18 thousand tons of electronic waste, of which more than 70% are small household appliances and consumer electronics. Together with Camarda, the new board of directors includes: Marco Pagani (Vice-president), Angela Antonini, Luigi Barni, Alberto Costa, Giuseppe De Matteis, Maria Addolorata Fuso, Luigi Giroletti, Demetrio Porfiri, Lorenzo Prina and Damiano Zanotti.
