 Data published by U.S. Census Bureau show that in the first seven months of the year the shipments of electrical equipment, appliances and components totaled 65,467 million dollars, -8.1% compared to the same period in 2015 (71,266 million dollars). The new orders also decreased, reaching 66,607 million dollars in January-July 2016 compared to 71,387 million dollars in the first seven months of 2015 (-6.7%). However, considering July 2016 versus June 2016, the shipments increased by 1.1% (9,563 million dollars versus 9,459 million dollars) and the new orders grew by 2.6% (9,702 million dollars versus 9,452 million dollars).
