Research into materials and finishes adds value to a product, especially for kitchen appliances, where consumers are particularly demanding in terms of both performance and design. New solutions can further enhance the appliance’s aesthetics and user experience. Falmec has moved in this direction, launching a new matt finish for its induction hobs. This type of appliance is undergoing a phase of evolution that involves both technology and aesthetics. The new finish proposed by the company not only enhances the product’s design but also offers functional benefits.

Matt finish with soft touch effect

Softness to the touch and reduction of scratches and surface marks

Falmec interprets the latest trends in kitchen design with the sophisticated matt black finish. “This distinguished choice – the company explains – enhances the elegance of the surfaces thanks to the satin effect, which gives a pleasant softness to the touch and helps to considerably reduce the visibility of annoying marks and fingerprints during daily use. The matt finish offers important functional benefits such as the elimination of reflections, including those caused by sunlight, and up to 5 times fewer scratches and surface marks compared to standard glass-ceramic surfaces, ensuring impeccable and long-lasting aesthetics”.

The new “matt” version also combines touch controls with white LEDs and is offered for all models in the Falmec induction hob collection (58 cm, 78 cm, 89 cm panoramic with 4 cooking zones, and 89 cm with 5 cooking zones). This complements and expands the already existing range with glossy glass-ceramic and control panel with red LEDs. “It is a plus that guarantees extremely clear visibility of the LED display – the company explains – thanks to a light intensity output up to 5 times higher, and allows customers to choose the finish that best suits their aesthetic needs”.

Technology to improve the user experience

Falmec induction hobs, all equipped with 9 cooking levels + Boost, integrate various features designed to improve the user experience. Among these is Flex Surface technology, which adapts to pots and pans of different shapes and sizes, ensuring maximum freedom of positioning. Besides, the Keep Warm function is useful for keeping food at the optimal temperature. And the Automatic function independently adjusts the suction power according to real needs, optimising consumption and efficiency.

Induction hobs also feature automatic pan detection, the Chef function – which automatically sets scaling power levels in different cooking zones – and the Bridge function, which allows you to connect two separate zones to create a single cooking area, ideal for large pans.

Finally, the Dialogue System function connects Falmec induction hobs to company’s cooker hoods via a radio frequency system. This technology enables hob and hood to communicate with each other. The two appliances can be controlled with a single gesture, directly from the integrated touch slider control panel.
