On November 7th, MIP (school of management – Polytechnic of Milan) presents at the Campus Bovisa in Milan the results of research Contract Logistics Observatory. The Observatory involved both companies representing the demand and companies providing logistics services. In particular, some Directors Logistics & Operations have directly participated in the work, including Whirlpool. The research has the following objectives: to examine the evolution of the sector, highlighting the key numbers of the industry; to deepen the top player market; to study the possible developments through two types of advanced logistics services (eCommerce and factory logistics); to analyze the state of green logistics and search for the future scenarios of logistics in a context of gradual unification of European markets.
