Tecniche Nuove presents the course “3D printing: from modeling to realization of objects”

“3D printing: from modeling to realization of objects” is a course of 16 hours, organized by Divisione Formazione Tecniche Nuove on October 10th and 11th, 2014. The program will show the operational phases of the 3D printing process and will provide the basis to evaluate the 3D modeling software and create simple objects with the available printers. The event, dedicated to architects, graphic designers, engineers, interior and industrial designers, makers and designers, is also created for those who intend to know topics related to 3D modeling, rendering and self-production using modern prototyping techniques. The course will be taught by Stefano Paradiso, architect specialized in computational design, advanced digital fabrication, interaction design and structural analysis. Currently, he is designer at Officine Arduino and FabLab Torino coordinator.
To attending the course, it is necessary to complete – within September 30th – the registration form and send it by email to formazione@tecnichenuove.com, or by fax (+39 02 39090335), or by mail to the following address: Tecniche Nuove, Via Eritrea 21, 20157 Milan (Italy), Divisione Formazione (fourth floor).
During the two days of the course, participants have to bring their own computer with the software already installed. After the registration is completed, the participant receives instructions for the installation by e-mail. The participation fee – that includes informative material, the book “Stampa 3D: concetti di base tutorial e progetti” (“3D printing: basis contents tutorial and projects”), coffee break and lunch – is equal to € 399 + VAT (€ 486.78) (15% discount for the subscribers to the magazines of Tecniche Nuove or NBM). Payment can be made by bank transfer (payable to Tecniche Nuove IBAN IT70 K01 0050 1607 0000 0000 4537) or by credit card (Visa, Carta Sì, Mastercard, Postepay). The minimum number of participants is 10 and the maximum one is 20 (in the case of the maximum number, the registrations will be accepted in order of receipt). At the end of the course – which will be held at the offices of Tecniche Nuove (address: Via Eritrea 21, Milan) from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm – the participants will receive a certificate of attendance from Tecniche Nuove and Officine Arduino. Formative credits for architects were required.
