According to the data released by the trade associations Semi/Seaj in the second 2014 quarter, the sales of equipment for the production of semiconductors grew in the world by 28% in comparison with the corresponding 2013 period, with a downturn, however, by 5% on the first 2014 quarter, which had represented the absolute peak of the last few years. In comparison with 2013, anyway, in the second 2014 quarter, the strongest rise was scored in Americas, with 101%, while in Europe they registered + 58%. Notable were also the growths in South Korea, with 42%, and in Japan with 35%.
