As reported by the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, Sharp has created a 4.1 inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, equal to 736 pixels per inch. The company had previously presented a display of 5.5 inch with 842 pixel per inch (4k resolution). The new kind of display could be used on next-generation smartphones.
