The figures released by ANFEL (Spanish Association of manufacturers and importers of household appliances) show that the white goods sector in Spain has recorded an increase in turnover of 14.18% in 2015 compared to 2014. Unit growth was equal to +11.20%, or +644,969 units sold. Considering the sales trend of the different products in units (2015 compared to 2014), only kitchens report negative percentages, reaching -8.47%. In the refrigeration segment, the combined refrigerators reached the highest growth (+22.34%), followed by the side-by-side models (+18.14%). In the washing machines segment, the increase of the top loading models was slightly higher than the increase of the front loading models (+9.35% and +8.80% respectively). Dryers were up 14.50%, while the dishwashers have registered an increase of 10.96%. As regards to the cooking products, ovens have achieved an increase of 11.29% and hobs an increase equal to +8.95%. Finally, hoods reached a growth of 8.33%.
