Bertazzoni has started 2016 with a new design award: the Italian company has won the Good Design Award for the freestanding black 30-inch kitchen with induction zones that is part of the Professional Series. Born in 1950, the Good Design is awarded annually by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, in collaboration with European Center for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. The freestanding kitchen, dedicated to the American market, has been selected by a panel of experts as the winning product in the category Kitchen/Appliances 2015. For Bertazzoni this is the fourth award received in the last three months of last year. “We are honored for this new award, which allows us to start 2016 in the best way – said Paolo Bertazzoni, CEO of Bertazzoni -. One of the most important criteria for the Good Design Award is the ability of a product to enrich society and people’s lives through its design. This satisfies us a lot because it means that we are in line with one of our main objectives: to create products that are increasingly at the service of consumers”.
