The Italian EL.C.A., in collaboration with the Spanish Gottak, has devised a card for the energy saving for suction hoods, for higher power motors. The card features small overall dimensions and is coupled with a four-speed mechanical switch. The fourth speed is timed and is included in the third speed after 60 seconds, requirement that has been designed to comply with a EEC directive about energy saving.
