ewit4Ewit – the project of cooperation between Europe and Africa on the management of WEEE and worth over 1.6 million Euros, coordinated by Consorzio Remedia – comes the second phase which includes a series of dissemination meetings organized on African territory in the cities of Choma (Zambia), Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Johannesburg (South Africa), Kisii (Kenya). The four cities were involved in the project and gemmellate with as many European cities: for Italy is involved Florence, twinned with the South African city Johannesburg.

The first part of the project was essential to gather the material necessary to the implementation of an innovative online portal http://ewit.site, which includes a section accessible via log in by local authorities and other stakeholders interested in the governance of the  WEEE in urban development contexts.
