Major domestic appliances
The MDA market in the Netherlands registered a significant increase in Q2 2016 – up by 10.8 percent, compared to the same quarter in 2015. Tumble dryers rose by 14 percent, due to a very rainy and cold spring season.

Small domestic appliances
The SDA market registered overall growth of 4.6 percent in the second quarter of 2016, compared to the same period in 2015. Sales in the deep fryers, dental care products, food preparation equipment, coffee machines, and vacuum cleaners segments contributed to this growth.
