Electrolux won Australia’s Good Design Award

Electrolux has won Australia’s Good Design Award for its Pure F9 vacuum cleaner: the product was recognized in the “Product Design” category for its design and innovation. The annual Good Design Award is a prestigious international prize with a history dating back to 1958. It celebrates the best new products and services on the Australian market, excellence in architectural design, engineering, fashion, digital and communication design and rewards emerging areas of design strategy, social impact and design entrepreneurship. “The Pure F9 – Pernilla Johansson, Electrolux Chief Design Officer, commented – is vacuum cleaning reinvented for the way consumers live today, and I’m proud its innovative design has been recognized by Australia’s Good Design Awards. Well done team!”. Electrolux Pure F9 uses powerful battery technology and innovative design solutions to provide consumers with a product that combines the performance of a traditional vacuum cleaner with the freedom of a stick vacuum. Its FlexLift sliding mechanism means user can adjust the height for comfort, and shift the position of the main unit to reach high corners or under low furniture, still keeping the center of gravity low for optimal ergonomics.
