The calls published by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MiSE) to encourage the use of patents and valorize the industrial property by the SMEs have been very successful and the available resources (56 million euros) quickly ran out. To meet further incentive requests, MiSE decided to anticipate the issuance of the 2020 planning decree for the calls related to patents (“Brevetti+“), designs (“Disegni+“) and trademarks (“Marchi+”), making a further 43 million euros available. The deadlines for submitting the new applications for the incentives will shortly be defined.
