Focus on the opportunities of digitization in the webinar “2021: the year of opportunities. The digital transformation in the manufacturing companies to support resilience and agility”. The online event was proposed by Rold together with the partner Alterna-Altea Federation and with the patronage of Confindustria Emilia-Centro. The webinar was born from the partnership between Rold Industrial and Alterna, which will see them operate jointly and synergistically along the entire factory digitalization chain (from consultancy, to the IIoT platform, up to the access to credit and benefits of the National Plan Transizione 4.0). The webinar was attended by Federico Visconti (chancellor of LIUC – Cattaneo University) who illustrated the decisive role of the entrepreneur today. Paolo Gianoglio (project manager for Industry 4.0 and Hyper-amortization at ICIM) spoke about the National Plan Transizione 4.0 for the financing of tangible and intangible assets to support the investments for the Smart Factory. Sergio Toffetti (Territory Channel Manager Business Application of Microsoft) and Daniele Lancellotti (PMI Solution Leader of Alterna) illustrated how the digital transformation of the companies takes place through an integration of the systems in a proactive logic. The protagonists of this speech were the ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the FlexiMes app by Alterna, and the Azure IoT Suite. Besides, there was the connection with the Rold plant in Nerviano (Milan), during which Luca Cremona and Alex Battistini (respectively Head of Industrial and Project Engineer of Rold) concretely showed RoldSmartFab, the IIoT platform for the production monitoring that makes the production plants smarter. The conclusion of the event was entrusted to Sergio Toffetti, who invited all participants to seize the opportunities offered by digitization also thanks to the Assessment programs co-financed by Microsoft. Microsoft technologies and solutions in terms of Azure IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Analytics, and the platforms of interaction, collaboration and process management, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, make it possible to accompany the companies in the most innovative evolution paths.
