On the occasion of Fuorisalone, the dialogue between Hitachi Cooling & Heating and the world of architecture and design continued. With the #airisdesign project, the company involved architects, interiors and industrial designers in a series of video interviews and explored the concepts of design, technology, sustainability, innovation and harmony. The protagonists of #airisdesign are the architect Alejandro Restrepo Perez and the designer Davide Colzi, founders of the ARPConcept studio; Francesca Ignani, architect and interior designer; and Christian Rigotti, industrial designer. The video interviews are visible on the social channels of Hitachi Cooling & Heating and on Fuorisalone.it.

Francesca Ignani, architect and interior designer

“Design interprets the evolution of the society today more than ever and becomes a design tool for the ‘new forms of living’, intended as residential spaces and more – says Silvana Vacca, Communication leader of Hitachi Cooling & Heating for Italy -. With #airisdesign, in addition to exploring the connections between design and current and future guidelines, we also want to underline some key values of our brand, such as harmony and technological heritage. Air is a strong and silent presence in our daily life, but also a difficult element to perceive, measure and weigh.

Christian Rigotti, industrial designer

Giving shape to the air is a real challenge for designers. This is where the push towards the aesthetic evolution of our solutions comes from, as in the case of Silent-Iconic – the innovative design panel for 4-way cassettes – which adds intelligence to the technological function of the air conditioning systems and a new style quality”.
