Selettra has been named Supplier of the Year by Electrolux. The Swedish multinational recognized its 2021 top suppliers during its annual Supplier Awards. The Supplier of the Year Award rewards the supplier that has distinguished itself by making the biggest impact in terms of value creation for Electrolux. “Selettra is a supplier of wiring harnesses for all product lines within BA Europe – Electrolux explains -. They are recognized for delivering value through their outstanding commercial, quality, delivery, innovation, and sustainability performance. One highlight of their performance is the proactive manner in which Selettra managed the demand swings and shortages, ensuring not only deliveries to fulfill their orders but also helping their competitors with the components to ensure Electrolux operational continuity”.
The Supplier Award is the usual appointment held annually at the Electrolux headquarters in Stockholm, this time in digital form. It awards the best suppliers in several categories, including Operational Excellence, Consumer Experience, Sustainability and, last but not least, Supplier of the Year.
Jonas Samuelson, CEO, and Peter Truyens, Senior Vice President Group Purchasing, members of the Electrolux top management, were present: they showed great satisfaction with Selettra’s work and confirmed the strengthening of the partnership between the two companies.
This award confirms Selettra’s position as a European leader in the production of wiring harnesses for big groups in the household appliance sector. It is a company able to guarantee its customers daily operations in this difficult period, but at the same time is able to collaborate and constantly support the customer in the development of new projects. All this is made possible thanks to a flexible, competent and dynamic organization, capable of perpetuating the fundamental human values of the company, founded about 50 years ago.
