For the second consecutive year, Sabaf Group joins the CDP network (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) to contribute and feed the transparent information promoted by the organization in terms of sustainability. In particular, the company participated in the Climate Change and Water programs. In concrete terms, the company has detailed numbers and initiatives aimed at avoiding waste by optimizing the resources and reducing the emissions. A report on energy and fuel consumption, recycling, emission values but also an opportunity to report environmental risks, proposing solutions to manage and solve them. The Group has long been committed to the environmental cause: already in 2004 it had joined Global Compact, the United Nations initiative for companies that are committed to supporting and promoting universally accepted principles, including the environmental protection. Joining the CDP consists in completing two online questionnaires, accessible via a special platform (Online Response System), made available by CDP. Once the answers have been provided, the company shares them with the promoter, which, after having collected and analyzed the data, is able to provide a complete and exhaustive picture of the main measures to be taken in terms of investments and procurement, in order to be in line with the standards of a zero-emission, sustainable and resilient economy.
