The D10 robot vacuum cleaner has won the Red Dot Design Award. “Neato – the company said – was the first company to introduce the D-shaped design to the market, becoming an element of uniqueness to stand out from the competitors”. The product combines design and technology: suitable for large homes, it has a True Hepa filter capturing up to 99.97% of allergens and fine dust particles as small as 0.3 microns. The pleated design allows for greater filtering surface area without sacrificing vacuum suction. Besides, Neato LaserSmart SLAM technology with LIDAR completely maps, navigates and cleans the home. Unlike camera-based technology, LIDAR allows Neato robots to navigate and clean even in the dark. The Neato D10 vacuums with up to 300 minutes runtime. It is possible to optimize performance and battery life by using the energy-saving Eco mode for general vacuuming and the high-performance Turbo mode for those areas that need a more powerful clean. The product is equipped also with the Max mode for an even deeper clean with maximum pickup. Besides, the user can customize the floorplan with “Zones” that define areas to clean more frequently or “No-Go Zones” to identify areas to avoid. Other pluses of the product are the Helix multi-surface brush and the 0.7-liter dirt bin. Finally, D10 can be controlled through the MyNeato app: user can clean on demand or on a schedule with Routines.
