Hi-Interiors created HiStand, an innovative nightstand that joins modern engineering with craftsmanship. This product, designed by Raffaella Mangiarotti, is the perfect example of when design meets technology. It comes equipped with an air purifier to help remove harmful pollutants and improve the quality of the air. Besides, HiStand has an electromagnetic shield that helps to deflect EMFs away from the head while the user sleeps, while still allowing to still receive phone calls depending on user’s settings. The product has built-in LED lights (that can be used to create different lighting environments, depending on the mood or needs) and courtesy lights (they turn on automatically when the user enters the room, providing a gentle light to guide in the dark; they can also be set to turn off after a certain period of time). HiStand also has conversational lights: they are to communicate actions taking place on the nightstand, such as a phone charging or air purification cycles. 
These lights can be set to different colors to match decor or personal style. In addition, the nightstand presents built-in wireless charging spots: the user simply has to place the compatible devices on the charging pads, and they’ll start juicing up automatically. Finally, other pluses of the product are: smart panel, safe drawer locked with NFC and alarm clock. HiStand works with the iOS app (Android app is coming soon), which allows user to customize the product providing easy access to all features and settings.
