With constant care of material innovations and experimentations in printing systems, Seriart G2 proposes the market solutions that combine creativity with various forefront technologies, to tailor-made for customers those identity logos in which reliefs and materials amaze and attract, up to the 3D effect, with excellent-quality communication efficiency.

Logos and labels are detail structures that, applied to the final product, become indispensable elements for the recognizability of a brand. In their engineering, the care of a dynamic material style, oriented to design is one of the Assets that share in determining the right value communication of the brand. In this scenario, Seriart G2 investigates the relationships and the connections between silk-screen printing art and materials, to embody with its seals the perfection of a product.
For over 40 years, Seriart G2, Marche company that ranks among the leaders in the production of labels, has met the most various industrial sectors to offer a unique product of its kind: labels, logos and 3D marks of endless typologies.
Established at the end of the Seventies by the entrepreneurial spirit of Giovanni Ciriaci, along the time the company has developed its manufacturing and marketing due to the contribution of the sons, Gian Paolo and Silvia. Precisely to the latter, who holds the role of Sales Manager, we asked to give us a “business narration” to understand its evolution and the peculiarities that support it in the design of the future and that have led many national and international brands to turn to its competence.

How was the company born and in what sector does it specialize?
Seriart G2 was established in 1977 as industrial silk-screen printing. We initially grow by supplying the household appliance industry, due to the close manufacturing pole in Fabriano area. In the Nineties we purchase a first machine for resin coating of labels and, in a very short lapse of time, due to the introduction of one the biggest resin-coating plants in Europe, we become one of the leaders in the production of resin-coated labels.
In the early 2000s, we in-house develop machinery and materials for a new product: Techno Flex, three-dimensional logo with metal look but extremely flexible.
Today, thanks to the unceasing research and to the support of the best silk-screen and digital printing technologies, we have become specialists in the implementation of 3D logos and emblems.
We collaborate with brands of absolute prestige and big industrial Groups, mainly in the sectors of fashion, automotive and household appliances. The conformity to the highest quality standards and the capability of dealing with always new challenges in time has led us to range in the most different sectors.

What is your consulting and design offer?
In Seriart G2 we rely on a design team joined by professionals belonging to various disciplinary ambits, with the target of accompanying customers in the choice of the most suitable label for the product type and aiding them in enhancing every graphic detail. Design shared with customers is the essential element for us: the logo must not be considered an external element applied to a product but it must suit it and constitute a whole with it. Together with customers, we process the space where to apply the label and then we go on designing it, so that it can be integrated into the product like the tile of a perfect mosaic.

What are customers’ requirements most demanded to you?
Along the years, we have organized to succeed in managing needs and cases that even notably differ one another. More in general, customers turn to us to obtain an excellent-quality result and at the same time a product unique of its kind.
In time, and due to our engineers’ collaboration, we have developed customized proprietary technologies, which allow us to implement tailored and not mass-productions. Both machines and materials are in-house developed. It is our secret ingredient: our solutions are unique because produced with tools and technologies that others do not own and cannot buy.

How does the engineering development of a logo occur?
We do not take care of the logo study and our work always starts from an already existing logo in graphic terms. We come into play precisely when we offer our technologies for its implementation.
What orients us towards the choice of a technology instead of another is the kind of image the customer wants to achieve: we can propose a minimal and elegant logo, with a strong aesthetical impact, or otherwise a three-dimensional logo, which communicates value and soundness. Solutions are the most different, and our task is precisely supporting customers in the choice of the best solution for their companies.

What materials and printing techniques do you apply?
Seriart G2 uses plastic materials (polyesters, polycarbonates and polyurethanes), adhesive and non-, in foils. We use the following printing techniques: the standard silk-screen printing, the digital printing and 3D printing. What differentiates us is the ability of combining the various techniques to carry out a product unique of its kind, with very high-definition graphics and excellent rendering in shades of colour. The target is always obtaining the best: selected materials, forefront printing techniques, permanent adhesives and the attentive combination of these elements make our know-how a quality guarantee.

Are there some innovations recently introduced?
Yes, Poly Plate Soft Edges: they are our adhesive logos with the characteristic soft edge (45°) cut, for a more modern concept, as alternative to the obsolete resin-coated label. A simple logo but carried out with precious materials, such as polyesters and polycarbonates, with thickness of 300 or 800my, to be eventually customized with metal finishes and colours. A choice that allows obtaining an elegant high-quality result, but at very low costs.

What highlights and the added value of your solutions?
The label has a very important narrative power: this is the awareness that drives our work. Giving value to a product by means of a tool: from the colour to the adapted material, depending on the type of support on which it will be applied. The label can remain etched in people’s memory and become symbol of a product.
Research and development of new technologies for printing systems are the key of our success. We started producing labels in 1977: from that date onwards, 45 years have gone by, characterized by progresses, evolution, desire of upgrading and keeping pace with times. We never settled on what we could do, we have always staked on innovation and on doing the best, and today this has led to the capability of creating an exclusive product, tailored, to satisfy each customer’s specific demands.

Can you mention a significant case history?
At the end of the Nineties, driven by his strong inventive entrepreneurial spirit, the founder Giovanni Ciriaci devised a new technology: Techno Flex. Together with trusted engineers, he developed a machine for the implementation of three-dimensional logos, but with a feature never seen before: high flexibility.
The availability of such a peculiar technology allowed Seriart G2 to approach the fruitful two-wheeler market. Until that time, in fact, any motorbike and scooter maker that intended to customize its vehicle, had to use a stiff logo. This meant unavoidably to buy a specific tool for any curvature of the vehicle’s fairing.
Seriart G2, through Techno Flex, has brought a very appealing solution to the market: this technology, besides reaching exceptional qualitative levels, has allowed customers to obtain also noteworthy economic benefits, because with a single tool it was possible to manufacture logos suiting whatever curvature of the vehicle.
Since when we have started proposing Techno Flex on the market, we have become official supplier for the almost totality of Italian and European manufacturers of motorbikes and scooters.
