Franke Home Solutions has developed the Sound Pro technology, characterized by a new motor which, by reducing turbulence and vortices of the internal air flow, minimizes the noise and improves the sound quality of the hood. After extensive research and detailed psycho-acoustic studies on noise level and sound frequencies, Franke Home Solutions has developed a new diffuser that ensures less internal turbulence and better aero-dynamic air flows, in a configuration that drastically reduces the noise level when the motor is at its maximum power. “The new Sound Pro diffuser – the company explains -, compared to those generally installed in the hoods, is characterized by reduced noise and allows it to be combined with different types of motor; depending on the motor on which it is installed, therefore, it becomes possible to combine a minimized noise level with high performance in terms of air flow as well as a high energy efficiency. But that’s not all: thanks to the reduction of the disturbance caused by the high frequencies, the Sound Pro technology also allows user to optimize the sound quality”. Available on various models of all the most important Franke product families, the Sound Pro technology characterizes in particular a product that makes the silence its peculiar feature: Format Plus (in the picture), the T-Shape hood available in both wall and island versions, which boasts a maximum noise level of 57 dbA.
