Rold hosted a workshop as part of the AIGEDA project, funded by EIT Manufacturing and which aims to create a comprehensive skills development programme. Aimed at industrial professionals for product development, it will enable them to leverage AI-powered generative engineering and design automation approaches and tools. “Prof. Gerhard Detlef, Dr. Timo Koering, Dr. Mathias Neges (Ruhr-University Bochum), Mr. Holger Nord (RUB Akademie) and Prof. Francesca Montagna (Turin Polytechnic) led the activities involved Rold’s R-Lab and R&D teams in order to determine the requirements for defining the training path – the company explains –.
