Monolith by Falmec enters the prestigious ADI Design Index 2023 and, together with the Light hood (already included in the 2022 edition), competes for the “Compasso d’Oro 2024” award. Designed in collaboration with Studio Ferriani, Monolith is a modular system: placed on the worktop, it consists of a hood module combined with storage modules that allow user to have different configurations. The storage modules, inside, can contain kitchen utensils, electrical and USB sockets, and optional accessories. Monolith also features a lighting system.
Light, on the other hand, is an island hood with an ultra-compact extraction body made possible by the Multi-Air technology. It distributes the suction power, normally concentrated on one motor, into several small motors, thus guaranteeing the same suction efficiency in an extremely small volume. Light features a central element in tempered smoked glass and two side profiles in black anodized satin aluminium, which integrate LED strips.
