The Electrolux Group recently began a global reorganization. Part of this path involves the creation of Commercial Areas that bring together markets with similarities and affinities with the aim of simplifying the organization, ensuring efficiency in the Business Area Europe APMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa), led by Anna Ohlsson-Leijon. The Commercial Area South, which includes Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, is led by Manuela Soffientini, former President of Electrolux Italia and Electrolux Appliances. “This new structure – commented Manuela Soffientini, Vice President of the Commercial Area South – allows us to leverage the synergies between the markets of Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, becoming more agile and competitive and capable of responding more quickly to the evolution of the market and consumer needs, while at the same time making our business more efficient in the difficult challenges we are facing”. As for Italy, Stefano Pasini, currently Head of Sales & Trade Operation Electrical Retail Channel in Electrolux Appliances, has been appointed General Manager and Head of Sales.
