LG Electronics Italia has entrusted Andrea Romeo with the role of Sales Director of the Home Appliances division. This new appointment is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the commercial structure, started last year with the creation of the team dedicated to the built-in segment, led by Maurizio Amanzi. “Romeo, who will report to the Sales Director Consumer Electronics Francesco Salza, will be head of the Home Appliances division – the company explains – and will focus on the development of new commercial strategies, aimed at consolidating LG’s presence on the white goods market as a leader in premium washing and cooling segments and aimed at growing in other product categories such as dishwashers and vacuum cleaners”. Andrea Romeo has an extensive knowledge of the consumer electronics sector gained within important multinational companies (such as Haier, Samsung, Indesit and Canon) where, over the course of 20 years, he has held positions of increasing responsibility.
