At the Haier stand, during the presentation of the new In-Vista refrigerator and wine cooler, the company received from Alessio Dellanoce (vice president and general manager of UL Solutions Appliances, HVAC and Lighting group) the plaque related to the Marketing Claim Verification assessment for its household refrigerator-freezer technological innovation. UL Solutions experts have conducted extensive tests according to current flat built-in conditions. First, the refrigerator door should be flush with the cabinet’s front edge after installation, at a reduced installation gap of 4 mm on the two sides, achieving a pure flat built-in experience. Second, based on dual-track hinge technology, the refrigerator can maintain a 90°angle door opening after installation, enabling easy access to food and for cleaning. Additionally, equipped with bottom and front heat dissipation technology, the refrigerator realizes zero increase in energy consumption after being built in. «UL Solutions – the company explains – recognizes Haier as the first company to earn a UL Marketing Claim Verification mark for a refrigerator-freezer of this kind — one that maintains a 90° angle door opening at a reduced installation gap of 4 mm without increasing energy consumption». UL Verification is an objective, science-based assessment that confirms the accuracy of marketing claims. The independent assessment process scrutinizes the validity of specific advertising or promotional statements, giving a way to separate verified fact from fiction. UL Solutions provides Verification for a variety of marketing claims for appliances, including: major domestic appliances, commercial appliances, power tools, and door and gate automation.
