Sifim has an internal laboratory for testing its products which can also be used by customers. “It is possible – the company explains – to carry out tests on pressure loss, flame resistance, fat retention (fat efficiency) and odors. Laboratory tests are important in the creation phase of the new hood to define the best filter to match as the performance is given by the air flows and the power of the extraction motor”. Sifim has a wide experience in the production of filters: it has been making components for domestic appliances, the hospitality sector and industry since 1995.
