Lhov, the innovative kitchen solution designed by Fabrizio Crisà (Elica’s Chief Design Officer), won the prestigious Compasso D’Oro: this product combines oven, hob and hood in a single appliance. The black glass surfaces, with no knobs and handles, enhance the design linearity, the oven door opens and closes with a touch, and the digital display is intuitive like a smartphone. Lhov’s only standard “feature” is its size (90×36 cm) for perfect integration with the cabinet. Its extraction core removes fumes and odours not only from the hob, but also from the oven. Besides, the oven cavity is 30% larger than standard ones and allows to cook two pans side by side, large foods or numerous smaller portions. Traditional cooking methods can be combined with steaming, while the selective grill feature heats up only half of the grill to reduce consumption. Automatic programmes make cooking simple, and connectivity allows operations to be controlled via voice assistant. Lhov also offers five combinable induction cooking zones with automatic features inspired by professional cooking.
