After opening the factory in Pune (India) in 2012, Faber opened on January 14th Faber North America, the new production site in San Luis Potosì, one of the most industrialized centers of Mexico. With 103 employees and an area of 12,000 square meters, the plant will initially realize the mid-range hoods and, in a second time, will extend the production to high-end models, mainly intended for the North American market. This is a strategically important operation also for the plant of Sassoferrato (Ancona), the center of the high-end production destined to export for 90%. Part of the demand coming from Mexico and North America will be intended to the Italian site, characterized by a high standard of quality and technology. The investment of approximately EUR 12 million shows the Group’s intention to continue the internationalization process already begun in the 80s with the opening of five production sites abroad: Argentina, France, Sweden, Turkey and India.
