In 2014 the sales of opto-electronic circuits grew by 10% and then with a rate exceeding that of the semiconductor field of which they are part. According to the surveys by the IC agency, in 2014 the global value of the sales of these components amounted to 34.8 billion dollars, with the 9.8% incidence on the total of semiconductors. The same agency foresees the 10% growth for this component for 2015.
