It was held in Milan last May an interesting and useful discussion, between Europe and North America, on the hot issues that fully involve the household appliance world like safety, energy efficiency and surveillance in a very structured market regulated by more or less complex directives. An updating of the latest regulations concerning energy efficiency, safety and market surveillance: these the three key themes on which focused the study day “Appliances: making the difference “, the convention promoted by UL in collaboration with Ceced Italia. Goal of the convention was just to highlight the main regulations and laws of the sector, both European and North American, for a direct discussion between two completely different markets by typology, structure, dynamics and especially rules.
