ISSI becomes Chinese

HA_NL_30_7_ISSIThe American company ISSI, leader semiconductor manufacturer, has sold all shares to the Chinese Group Uphill Investment. The transaction cost 764 million dollars. ISSI is specialized in the production of drams, analogue and mixed circuits and low consumption SRAMs and in 2014 it reached a turnover of 329 million dollars in the automotive, communication and consumer electronics sectors.

The United States company Californian IntegratedĀ  Silicon Solution Cypress had in its turn submitted an offer to takeover ISSI, but the latterā€™s shareholders preferred the most convenient offer by the Chinese Group.
