The washing problem was solved several decades ago, with the washing machine; the drying issue as well, with the more up-to-date invention of the dryer. It was instead still unsolved the ironing matter, for which the only available solutions were those intended for the professional market, very expensive and very bulky. Foldi Mate intends to fill this gap.
It is an appliance with sizes resembling a domestic washer’s, inside which are “hung” the clean and dry clothes. A steam jet and the motion of mechanical arms allow attaining folded, and in the foreseen evolutions, also perfumed and disinfected garments.
Gal Rozov, Omer Einav and Izach Orbach have invented it; it is already possible to order the products from their site.
