In Milan a meeting on the connectivity technologies

iotOn 6th October, in Milan (at Talent Garden, via Calabiana 6), an interesting conference dedicated to the connectivity technologies for industry, cars, home and people will take place, with a 360-degree view on the technologies that enable the Internet of Things, their effects on the production of objects and the applications that involve the daily lives of people. The event, to be held in occasion of the “Innovation Day 2016”, is co-organized by the Order of Engineers of the Milan Province and “Selezione di Elettronica”, a magazine published by New Business Media – Tecniche Nuove Group. The IoT numbers are impressive: Gartner expects a business of almost 2,000 billion dollars within 2020, with 26 billion devices connected to the Internet. Among the most promising sectors there are the car industry and the smart home.
Prestigious speakers (from the institutional, industrial, academic and associative area) will be present at the meeting. Besides, after the speakers there will be a round table with representatives of industry and research. The presentation by the companies of their solutions and applications for the connectivity will close the conference. Finally, there will be the awarding of the “Innovation Design Contest”, the prize dedicated to the projects realized by the Italian university students.
