The IFTTT compatibility is now present in all Whirlpool appliances. The IFTTT is a digital incredibly powerful cloud-based service where users can connect with a wide range of apps, services and products, and create links between your digital media on which it depends to make them work together. Last September Whirlpool has launched three new IFTTT channels intended for household appliances, offering functionality with which the end user can get unique and innovative solutions for home automation.
IF this, THEN that – Understanding the power dell’IFTTT
The IFTTT system (short for “IF this, THEN that”, “IF this happens, THEN do that”) puts in communication capabilities (so-called “triggers”) of connected devices made available to its platform. Particular conditions or events occurring in a certain device can trigger an action on the part of another device. This all translates into a “recipe”, a simple set of instructions that the user can impart to automate their world. It can, for example, make sure that the evening lights of the home lighting when the cell communicates his imminent arrival.
With the launch of new “triggers” by Whirlpool, the appliances 6th SENSE LIVE will receive communications from other devices available in IFTTT and communicate with them. Whirlpool also feature a number of useful recipes for easy automation.
